BiographY

Hooverphonic is a band that likes to think outside the box. For over 25 years, they've been perfecting their own unique and instantly recognizable sound. Alex Callier (songwriter/producer) and Raymond Geerts (guitarist) have been the backbone of the band since day one. They've worked with a wide range of extremely talented vocalists and are excited to be reunited with Geike Arnaert 's iconic voice since the fall of 2020. Over the years, the band has evolved from the dark, hushed trip hop of their 1996 debut to warmer, more orchestral music—part psychedelic, part catchy, and part poppy, but always the soundtrack to a movie that doesn't exist.

Hooverphonic continues to tour worldwide with a solid live reputation and hits such as " 2Wicky ," " Eden ," " Mad About You ," " Anger Never Dies ," " Amalfi ," " Badaboum, " and " Romantic ." Many songs have ended up appearing on the soundtracks of influential films and television shows, such as " Stealing Beauty ," "I Know What You Did Last Summer ," " Permanent Midnight ," " CSI , " " Entourage ," " La Femme Nikita ," " Cold Case ," and the recent Netflix hit " The Umbrella Academy ."
